Food is outstanding quality consistently great atmosphere

The food is usually pretty good. Our red wine was served at about 75 degrees. 😯 They need to clear the outside seating area of the over 100 spiders that are all over the place. They also need to clean the underside of the glass tables, and fix the ones that are uneven so that you don't spill your wine like I did by tapping the table.

Food was delicious and service was incredibly friendly and helpful. You know a restaurant is good when you come in on a Tuesday night and there are quite a few people already there. I had the chicken parmesan and they did not skimp. There was a lot of chicken and the linguini was very well done. The Caesar salad was simple yet appetizing. I did not have dessert because I was just too full after the main course. Definitely would recommend, although you may want to make reservations ahead of time.

This place truly reminds me of a little piece of Itlay. I love the beautiful decor, the coziness, and the friendly staff. In the warm weather, the multitude of flowers is just beautiful!

Romantic atmosphere, great food and excellent service. We enjoyed the big band music playing in their sound system. Great for a dressy and casual night out.

Great setting love the decorations! (though a little dusty) Very nice staff. Just need to fine tune a few things for 5 stars (didn't get all silverware) waitress dress codes could be better and the dusting. Besides that great experience!

To be quite honest, I’ve tried almost every pizza place in oneonta, and This place might be the worst. Maybe I was unlucky and got an undercooked pizza but the sauce is not that great the crust is decent, cheese was good but overall out of 10, one bite everyone knows the rule.... 4.7. But then again maybe I was just unlucky

Cute /cozy atmosphere. Ordered drinks and bruchetta to start.It was just okay with the appetizer. waited a while to get second round of wine. Waited a while till main course came out but didnt mind while we sipped wine. Main meal was huge portation and very flavorful. Price was fair. Overall good experience.

Friendly and warm atmosphere. Dinner was made fresh and to order. Our waitress was courteous and didn't rush us. It was delicious!!! We would definitely recommend this restaurant!!

Like real Italian food? All you have to know for this fine restaurant.Ive been 2 times now, first time was excellent, 2nd time, the waitress was all of 17, rushed me, then was absent. More training need, gave her 20% due to the times, but shouldn't have.Espresso is real Italian Roast. Dining room is beautiful, great for family dinners or business lunches and dinners. Real table cloths, need real cloth napkins for adults, bring out the real glasses for water and drinks for adults, paper and plastic is ok for kids, but upscale it and you really have something. Then your 5 stars.EW.

I ordered a basic margarita pizza with vodka sauce instead of pizza sauce and wings ... how simple ...!!My order came to 40 dollars...they Proceeded to tell me that the cook dough was $15 and the cheese sauce and basil was all an up charge which came to $27 told me it was their home made vodka sauce which had no taste and the supposed large pie was really a small ....and to top it off the wings don’t come with celery and blue cheese is which was another 1.75 again no taste ...it’s disgusting how you can rob people .... I will not supply this local business again I wish they allowed no stars cause even when I asked about it they were nasty and when I called the guy was very rude some way to do business

Unfortunately the spaghetti was overcooked and watery...sauce tasted like it was from a can. Such a nice little place, too bad the food is terrible and when mentioned to the server, he was indifferent and just avoided our table after we expressed displeasure with the food quality. How does an Italian restaurant screw up basic spaghetti so badly?!?!

While the place was nicely decorated for Christmas, that was the only positive during our visit. When we arrived, they were obviously understaffed, with 1 person both waiting and seating tables, resulting in very slow service. The lasagna was a pile of overcooked noodles topped with Mozzarella cheese. There was hardly any sauce, and no ricotta cheese to be found. It was by far the worst lasagna I have ever had -- absolutely no flavor. The Chicken Piccata (spelled Picatta on menu) also lacked flavor, and was quite soggy, and ridiculously overpriced for 1 small piece of soggy breaded chicken and some pasta. Very disappointed!

The food is pretty good for thos area, spicy calamari sauces and tasty fresh rolls. Huge slices of pizza $3+.

Very nice atmosphere friendly people great food

Have been enjoying Alfresco’s for years. However, today I was extremely disappointed. First, 20.00 for spaghetti and meatball dinner seems pricey. Second, only two very small meatballs on the meal and two small meatballs as a side! Third, the sauce was horrible and meatballs had absolutely no-taste , bland, even watery. On a positive note the flowers outside are beautiful.

Ordered 2 slices of pizza to go. No excuse so dry the cheese was like tortilla chips, tomato sauce was as dry & degraded as blood on a rotting corpse

Please go to this restaurant if you are in the area. Beautiful exterior and plants are amazing. The interior mimics an Italian patio and is so charming. Food was outstanding and the service was friendly and prompt. Go!

Awesome Service, the Pizza was amazing best we had traveling from California! Great place to eat, had a great Red Sox Fan serving Dodger Fans off to the Baseball Hall of Fame! Keep up the great food, we hope to be back one day with other Dodger Fans!

My daughter picked this restaurant that we had never been to. It was the prettiest restaurant I had seen in a long time! The lights and flowers and the Italian music I felt like I was in Italy!!! The server was friendly and it did not take long for our food. Everything was delicious!!! And you will not leave hungry!!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you for such a nice night out!!

Great antipasta, stramboli was number 1 and giant pizza was outstanding, you would need to try it, but we were a party of 4, waiting to go again !!!

Friendly waitress but food was the worst meal I ever hadThe interior makes you feel you just descended in Dante's Inferno and Ciacco himself will cook your meal.Italian food is uncomplicated Alfresco's was loaded with so many ingredients, some semi fresh, some right out of a can, like the Tomato, basil risotto soup, was straight out of a Campbell's can, no basil, no Arborio rice and full of sugar. This was the worst and expensive lunch ever.The "fresh house salad" was just pieces of iceberg lettuce, 1 tiny cherry tomato sliced in 2 and 3 spinach leaves.Sausage in overly cooked pasta was hard and disgusting...don't eat there!

Food, atmosphere, prices, and service was great! Now have new go-to place when traveling through the area.

Don't get me wrong, this place is gorgeous! However, the minute we walked into the door and asked for a table, we were met with a snarky, "well, do you have a reservation?" Instead of being upset, we calmly replied, "no, we do not." We waited about five minutes and sat down at a table. The wait staff were great and the poor girls looked exhausted. After the food got to the table, we were kinda perplexed. My sister took a bite into her food and the chicken was still cold and tasted like it had been in the microwave. My eggplant was super soggy and the breading was pretty much coldish mush. I ate mine and it tasted good, but for nearly $20 a plate for pre prepped/microwaved food, next time we'll just order pizza.

Quite possibly the best pizza that I have ever had. The focacci bread pizza was absolutely delicious. The entire family loved this place and we ate there twice on one brief vacation. The atmosphere is quaint and quiet. Very nice wait staff.

Cool little family owned Italian restaurant. My wife and I ate a 12” pizza and it’s plenty of food for 2. The only thing that was we didn’t care for was it was too hot in there. I saw central air conditioner but I don’t think they were using it or it wasn’t working.

Everything we ordered was perfect. One of top 5 or top 3 favorites of mine to go to.

Good food, good service, limited menu, a little pricey. We will return.

Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Oneonta, NY. There is hardly a bad word that could be spoken about this place. The food is delicious, the wait staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fabulous. It caters especially well to families and couples. During the Christmas season, the place is decked out in some of most amazing decorations you'll ever see in a restaurant. It's worth visiting for the decorations alone.

We had a great meal here. The food quality was good. We had a large table of eaters and everyone was happy. The garlic bread was delicious. Staff was friendly and portions were decent size.

Service was good food not so much worst veal marsala meat was chewy sauce was more like frozen tv dinner gravy

Another wonderful Italian restaurant that does it right! Elegant, cozy, and overall beautiful inside. This is one of the best settings I've seen for Italian dining by far. The owners definitely know how to design and attract. The food was delicious and reminded me of old fashion cooking. If you haven't stopped by here yet, please do yourself a favor and try. You won't be disappointed!

When we travel we are spontaneous and this was such a gem of a find I hope to come again The food was delicious The service was amazing My husband had a chicken parm sub and said it was very very good I had a caprese salad and a sangria Everything was. Impeccable And loved the fresh basil too !! I asked a question about some plants outside and was given the best answer ever. So informative I seriously could just sit all day in their parking lot It’s such a beautiful garden. We parked next to a hummingbird. I truly can’t say anything negative about this place except it’s not in my home town!!!

Food and waitress mediocre, but building is very pretty

I've been coming to alfresco's since I was a little girl and I remember when the big slices used to be $2.50 I must say this is definitely one of the best places to get a Big Slice from they're always Pleasant and very welcoming

I stopped by twice while in the area for the weekend. The food was delicious from a BLT to pizza to bruschetta. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes next time.

Excellent food and friendly service. I always enjoy the Deluxe Antipasto. Many other yummy options onthe menu as well.
